Resume Cover Letter Samples

Given below are two resume cover letter samples. Cover letters serve the purpose of introducing you and explain why the recipient should look at your resume with interest. The cover letter is a preview and should be presented as such – by highlighting the main points to create an interest in the story that follows. To write a cover letter, you could start by looking for resume cover letter samples on the Internet where you will find many samples that you can use. The samples give you an idea of how to introduce yourself, how to structure the letter and the type of tone to use. Use the guidelines but you write “your” letter.

Before we actually go to the resume cover  letter samples here are a few points that need to be noted. Ensure good quality stationery that matches the paper used for your resume (absolute must for that professional look). Similarly the font used in both documents must match. The letter should be crisp, brief and about half a page (maximum, one page). Get the name of the recipient, his/her designation, etc correctly. The letter should sell you convincingly. Work at it. The letter should have positive energy radiating out of it. It should clearly spell in as many ways as possible how you are the best man for this job. Quantify and qualify any claims you make. Write down a date when you will follow up and follow up.
