Job Interview Tips

Below are some important job interview tips:

  • Be prepared. The interview is all about you and the employer, and the employer want the answers for four questions: are you interested in the job? can you do the job? can you fit in the organization and are you motivated to do the job? So you should understand your qualifications, interests, motivations and find out the pertinent facts of the employers. Prepare some questions to ask interviewers and review some possible questions that will be asked in the interview.
  • Be there on time or a few minutes early.
  • Dress appropriately for the position.
  • Use positive body language: shake hands, keep eye contact and maintain good posture.
  • Listen carefully and ask questions to show your interest.
  • Speak clearly and concisely, provide enough detail about your qualifications.
  • Be honest and never lie about your qualifications.
  • Don't ask questions about salary and benefits unless you're asked.
  • Always follow up with a thank you letter.
