Free Career Tests
Some do-it-yourself type of people don't like the idea of free career tests. That's totally fine. I mean, if you have a clear picture of your interests, personality, strengths and weaknesses etc, why do you need other people to tell you who you are and what you should do in your career. But to me, career tests seem fun and sometimes informative. Taking some career tests and reviewing the results can give me some insight into my career goal and reveal some of my strengths, weaknesses, and career options that I have never thought of before. I'm always willing to try new career test if I have some time. Just keep in mind that these tests are not necessarily accurate. You should look on them as indicators rather than guidelines, and you'd better take at least two of them to imporve the accuracy and compare the results. If the test results seems totally wrong to you, just follow your heart. You know yourself better than any test do. Once I tried a career test and found it to be accurate, so I could not wait to passed it on to my friends. Some friends said that the test was helpful, while some others said that they would never consider the career options the test suggested.
