I am writing in response to your ad in today's Albany Times Union for a scientist in your drug discovery department. As requested, I enclose a copy of my resume as well as a list of my publications for your consideration. I would bring to this position:

4 years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical industry.
extensive experience in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry and combinatorial chemistry.
In-depth knowledge of SAR, QSAR, and pharmacophore modeling.
In-depth knowledge of analytical instruments including LC, IC, TLC, HPLC, GC-MS, LC-MS and NMR.
excellent communication, computer and written skills.

I'm especially interested in moving to back to Albany since I grew there. With family and friends there, I already feel part of the community.
